Rev. E. A. Elliott Rites Held Saturday

Funeral services for the Rev. E. A. Elliott, retired minister, and former Polk county legislator were held Saturday, December 8th at 1 p.m. at the Dunn funeral home in Des Moines with burial in the Glendale cemetery.

The Rev. Mr. Elliott, aged 92, died last Thursday night at the Iowa Lutheran hospital in Des Moines. He suffered a stroke Thursday morning, in his home at 2603 E. fourteenth street where he had lived the last 51 years.

Before retiring from his ministerial duties, 10 years ago, he had served as a minister in Madison county. He was also a former Des Moines city councilman.
