Friends here have received news of the death of W. T. Francis at his home in California. He and Mrs. Francis were just completing a holiday visit in the homes of their children. He was not previously ill.
Mr. Francis was for several years a resident of a farm, four miles northwest of Winterset, in Douglas township. His wife was the former Miss Etta Thomas.
