ELZA C. BLAIR

Elza C. Blair was born in Madison county, Iowa, February 9, 1864, and died at his home in Wick, Iowa, Jan. 31, 1932, aged 67 years, 11 months and 22 days.

He was united in marriage to Betty Shaver, Dec. 14, 1897. To this union three children were born. One son died when about two years old.

He has been a sufferer for several years. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Alfred Kellogg of Martensdale, John who is at home, one grandchild, two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Simpson, Truro and Mrs. Lute Moore, Medora; five brothers, George of St. Charles, Robert of Bevington, William of Patterson, Oliver of Washington and John of Peru.

Funeral services were held at Blair chapel Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. G. E. Carnahan, pastor of the United Presbyterian church in St. Charles.
