Mrs. Lydia Harrell, a long time resident of Bevington, died at her home Saturday, December 3rd at the age of 68 years. She had been ill with Bright's disease for a number of years, but was only critically ill for three weeks. Her two nieces, Mrs. Annie Reining of Terrill and Mrs. L. N. Allen of Emmetsburg took care of her during her illness.
Mrs. Harrell was formerly Lydia Lay, and was born September 17, 1864 in Warren county. She was married to Harry D. Harrell, May 15, 1905 and he died a number of years ago.
Funeral services were held at Blair Chapel Monday, December 5 and she was buried beside her husband in Blair Chapel cemetery. The Rev. Mr. Kriebs of Des Moines conducted her services.
