Funeral Services Held on Sunday, with Burial at Peru
(Lorimor--Special)
Mrs. Elda Holloway, a long-time resident of this community, died here March 23 at the age of 80 years.
Mrs. Holloway was the former Elda Emerson, daughter of James and Mary Ann Emerson. She was born March 3, 1870.
She was married Jan. 4, 1902, to Frank M. Holloway. They were the parents of four children, one son preceding the mother in death. Her husband died in 1913.
Mrs. Holloway was a member of the Lorimor Methodist church for many years, and was active in its work as long as her health permitted.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Blanche James of Elizabethtown, Ky., and Mrs. Goldie Eldrige of Lorimor; a son, LeRoy Holloway of Council Bluffs; six grandchildren; and one great grandson.
Funeral services were held Sunday from the Lorimor Methodist church, in charge of the Rev. Hamilton. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
