MRS. THOMAS CORSBIE PASSED LAST FRIDAY

Death Occurred at Home of Her Daughter in Peru

Mrs. Thomas Corsbie died last Friday, May 12 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Zilpha Pickens, in Peru. She was 74 years of age.

Mrs. Corsbie was the former Mary Frances Little, daughter of John H. and Mary Jane Little, and was born in Madison county Feb. 4, 1876.

She was married to Thomas C. Corsbie on Nov. 7, 1895. They were the parents of eight children. Mr. Corsbie and five of the children preceded her in death.

In early life she united with the Methodist church at Elm Grove, and later with the Church of Christ at St. Charles.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Pickens of Peru and Mrs. Edith Wilson of Des Moines; and a son, Eugene T. Corsbie of Des Moines. She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. A. R. Weed of Tingley, Mrs. Minnie Marchell and Mrs. M. V. Benedict, both of Afton; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
