Death of E. E.Whiting

E. E. Whiting, a former resident of Winterset, died at his home in Des Moines at 1326 West 9th, Tuesday April 4th about 11 o'clock. Mr. Whiting who was 60 years of age had only been ill with pneumonia since Friday.

He leaves his wife, a son John of Trenton, Missouri and a daughter, Mrs. Dwight Caldwell. Mrs. Whiting is an aunt of Glen Foster of Winterset.

Funeral services are being held in Des Moines at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon and burial is to be made in the Winterset cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Glen Foster of Winterset and Melvin Foster of Greenfield are planning to drive down for the service.
