IDA E. MOORE DIED HERE LAST FRIDAY

Former Resident Succumbs in Winterset at Home of Son

Mrs. Ida E. Moore of Ft. Des Moines, a former resident of Winterset, died here last Friday, Oct. 20 at the home of her son, Dean E. Moore. She was 81 years of age.

Mrs. Moore was born March 21, 1869, at Conway, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Starkey. She spent her early life in that community.

She was married Dec. 28, 1892 to Arthur E. Moore of Decatur county. They were the parents of two children, both of whom survive. They are Mrs. Hazel Martin of Denver, and Dean Moore of Winterset. She also leaves a granddaughter.

Funeral services were held from Richards funeral home Monday in charge of the Rev. Glenn Parrott, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
