Cecelia Nolan
Miss Cecelia Nolan, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Nolan died Saturday, June 14th, near the Nichols farm in Warren county. “Sis,” as she was familiarly known by her many friends, was born in Union township, October 2, 1905. She was baptized November 12th, 1905 at St. Joseph’s church in Winterset. She attended the schools of Union township, and was graduated from St. Joseph’s academy in Des Moines, in May, 1923. Since that time, she had been at home with her parents.
Rev. Luke S. Plunkett conducted the funeral and solemn requiem mass, at St. Joseph’s church, Tuesday morning, June 17th and burial was made in St. Patrick’s cemetery, north of Bevington. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Nolan and two brothers Joe of Oklahoma City and Phillip of Los Angeles, California. One sister has preceeded her in death.
