Death of George Thurman

George Thurman, veteran farmer who had lived most of his life near Lorimor, died in Lorimor Wednesday. He was 83 years old.

The deceased was the father of Fred Thurman, for many years a well-known resident of Winterset. For the past nine years, Mr. Thurman had made his home in Lorimor.

Funeral services were to be held today (Friday) at the Union church near Murray, with burial in the cemetery there.
