Floyd, son of Thomas and Fannie Faux, was born near Patterson, March 6, 1917. He had attended the Patterson consolidate schools, where he was this year in the 8th grade of Junior High.
He was extremely kind and loving in his nature, a great home boy who delighted in his pony and other pets and delighted in helping with the stock, a kind loving boy with every possibility for good.
He was taken suddenly ill on Monday evening, October 13th, after coming home from school and was taken to the Mercy hospital the following Sunday, where he passed away on Monday, October 20th, at the age of 13 years, 7 months and 14 days.
He leaves beside his father and mother, six brothers, Elmer, of Rolfe; Arthur, of Ogden; Byrom, of Barney; George, of Patterson, and David and Elton, at home, and two sisters, Melissa Booth, of California, and Mrs. Mabel Cooper, of Patterson.
