Charles Henry Conn was born in Iroquis county, Illinois, on September 11, 1957 and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Jones in Lorimor, April 20, 1933, following a cerebral hemorrhage, April 4th. He was aged 75 years, 7 months and 9 days.

He was united in marriage to Miss Hattie Schell on June 28th, 1889. To this union were born four children: Henry, Gertrude, Edna and Clifford. The wife and mother passed away in 1893 when the youngest child was but two years old. From that time the husband and father was left to carry on alone.

He leaves to mourn his departure his four children, five grandchildren and one great grandchild, one half sister, Mrs. Cora Gaylor of Gilman, Illinois, a half brother, Edward O. Looker of LeGrand, Oregon.

Funeral services were held at 1 o'clock at Lorimor and at 2:30 at Winterset Saturday afternoon. W. C. Porter officiated. Burial north of Winterset in Baptist cemetery.
