DEATH OF MRS. TERRY

Mrs. G. C. Terry died at her home in Winterset Saturday from injuries received when she attempted three days before to take her life by hanging.

Mrs. Terry was born in this county as Lulu May Sheldon on November 3, 1885. She received her education in Madison county schools, being graduated from the Winterset high school with the class of 1904. She taught in the rural schools of the county for several years and on August 15th, 1911, she was married to Grover Cleveland Terry.

As a child she united with the Methodist Episcopal church of Winterset where she was a member for more than twenty years. In 1926, Mr. and Mrs. Terry joined the Primitive Baptist faith. For several years she was church clerk, holding that office at the time of her death.

Immediate survivors of the deceased are her husband, a son, Arthur, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were held in the Primitive Baptist church near Winterset last Sunday afternoon. The Rev. J. L. Jones of Council Bluffs was in charge. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
