MRS. R. L. HUTCHISON DIES AT AGE OF 44

Had Been Truro Resident for Past Sixteen Years

Mrs. Ralph L. Hutchison, a resident of the Truro community for 16 years, died Sunday, April 23 at the University hospital in Iowa City. She was 44 years of age.

Mrs. Hutchison was the former Velma Anne Campfield, born Dec. 13, 1905, at Casey, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Campfield. She was married Nov. 6, 1927 at Creston, to Ralph Hutchison.

During her residence here, she was active in the Methodist church, serving as a teacher in the primary department and treasurer of the Sunday school.

Nearest surviving relatives are her husband and her mother.

Funeral services were held Wednesday of last week from the Kale funeral home. The Rev. Mr. Fowler was in charge, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Hindman of the Afton Evangelical church, and the Rev. Verne Willey of the Truro Christian church. Burial was made in the Young cemetery.
