LEE C. HARRIS

Lee C. Harris was born August 20, 1880 at Scranton, Kansas and died July 4, 1964 at the age of 83 years, 10 months and 14 days.

He was married to Pearl Thompson at Eureka, Illinois. They moved to the Earlham community in 1906 where he engaged in farming and the trucking business. To them were born three sons, Dale of Beloit, Wisconsin; Vern, Earlham, Iowa and Wayne, Hobart, Indiana; one daughter, Ellen (Mrs. Roy Davis) Gray, Iowa.

In addition he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Nettie Eckstein of Des Moines, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

His wife, one brother and one sister preceded him in death.

The funeral services was held at the Evans Funeral Home in Earlham on Monday, July 6 at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Raymond Lott Jr. officiating. Interment was in the Earlham cemetery.
