Earlham, IowaHarry E. Stegall, son of Sol and Grace Stegall, was born April 28, 1910 at Earlham, and was taken quite suddenly from this life by a heart attack at his home on March 28, 1973.
Harry grew to manhood in the Earlham community, graduating from Earlham high school. He joined the Early Chapel church and was a lifetime member.
He was united in marriage to Margaret Cox on November 26, 1936. To this union two children were born: Donna Rae and Harry Dean.
He spent the remainder of his life farming in the Earlham community.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, one sister and one brother. He leaves to mourn his death his wife Margaret, his son Harry Dean and wife Lola, his daughter Donna and husband Darwin Corman; two grandsons Brad and Cory; two brothers, Glen of Earlham and Lloyd of LeGrand, and a host of friends and relatives.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, March 3, at Fisher funeral home at Adel with the Rev. William Dilsaver officiating. Casket bearers were Kenneth Farlin, Kenneth Bricker, Phil Silverthorn, Glenn Silverthorn, Lawrence Lienemann and Leland Hindman.
Interment was in Penn Center cemetery.
