John Henry Campbell

John Henry Campbell, son of Jacob and Margaret Campbell, was born in August county, Virginia, February 27, 1857, and departed this life August 15, 1930, at the age of 73 years, 5 months and 18 days.

Mr. Campbell had been ill since last spring, but only confined to his bed for two weeks. He passed away at his home south of Macksburg. Mr. Campbell was a member of the Methodist church at Wick.

He leaves to mourn his departure, two brothers: Jacob, of Wick, and David, of Lorimor. Four sisters and one brother have preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at the Macksburg Methodist church, August 17th, at 1 o’clock, by the Rev. Eugene D. Alexander, with burial in the Moon cemetery.
