Macksburg, September 9. Special. Mrs. Olive Hart died Saturday morning, September 7th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. C. Schutz. She had been in failing health for several months, but was not confined to her bed only a few days. She was 71 years of age at the time of her death.
The Rev. Eugene Alexander conducted the funeral services, Monday afternoon, September 8th, at 2 o’clock, and burial was made in the Moon cemetery. More details of her life may be found in the mortuary column.

Page 5Mrs. Sarah Olive Hart
Sarah Olive Coate, daughter of Samuel and Harriet Coate, was born in Iowa county, Iowa, March 15, 1859, and departed this life September 6, 1930, at the age of 71 years, 5 months and 21 days. She was united in marriage to Charles Henry Hart on October 30, 1875. He preceded her in death four years.
To this union were born five children, two daughters and three sons; Myrtle, who died in infancy; Mrs. A. C. Schutz, of Macksburg; C. S. Hart, of Enid, Oklahoma; H. H. Hart, of Pasadena, California, and F. A. Hart, of Hollywood, California. She united with the Christian church early in life and in later years joined the Methodist church at West Branch.
She leaves besides her sons and daughter, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. J. D. Stallings, of Oswego, Kansas, and many nephews and nieces and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held on Monday, September 8th, at 2 o’clock in the Methodist church at Macksburg, conducted by the Rev. Eugene Alexander, and interment was made in the Moon cemetery.
