Earlham, IowaOrpha Marie Masters Cly, daughter of Foster and Lillie Mae Jackson Masters, was born January 19, 1923, at Bear Grove, Guthrie County, Iowa, and passed away August 8, 1974, at the Dexter Clinic Hospital.
As a child she lived in Missouri and there gave her life to Christ in the Vandalia Baptist Church. On December 23, 1952, she was united in marriage to Woodrow Cly of rural Dexter, and has been a member of the Dexter Presbyterian Church since that time. She was Past Noble Grand of Eva Ann Rebekah Lodge, and was serving as Noble Grand at the time of her death. She was also a member of the Stuart LEA, Past Noble Grand Club, American Legion Auxiliary, Adair VFW Auxiliary. Marie was a Licensed Practical Nurse, and had a deep concern for people, and loved the out of doors.
Preceding her in death were her parents, and one sister. She leaves to mourn her husband Woodrow, a brother Arley Masters and his wife Mildred of Vandalia, Missouri, and one sister Addy Masters of Fulton, Missouri; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, one uncle, and a host of friends.
