Daisy Esther Emilie Fett, the daughter of William Fett and Emma nee Schneider, was born in Madison county, Iowa on February 18, 1903. She received her education in the Madison county schools. She lived in the Dexter community most of her life and was for many years correspondent for the Earlham and Stuart newspapers. She was a member of Zion Lutheran church in Dexter and also of its Ladies Aid.

Esther passed away in Des Moines on Tuesday, March 26, at the age of 71. She is survived by a sister, Eldora Fett of Des Moines; and a brother, Francis Fett of Des Moines. One sister, Mary moved to California. Her residence is unknown.

Funeral services were conducted in Zion Lutheran church on Friday, March 29, with the Rev. Norman M. Luecht in charge. Casket bearers were: Richard Clausen, Carl Schafer, Herman Schafer, Bert Jobst, Paul Clausen, Robert Marsh. Burial was in the Penn Center cemetery. The Evans Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
