MRS. CORA CORNMAN OF WINTERSET DIES

Long-Resident of Lincoln Township Was 85 Years of Age

Mrs. Cora M. Cornman, a long-time resident of Lincoln township, died at her home near Winterset this Monday, Dec. 8. She was 85 years of age.

Mrs. Cornman was a native of Lineville, where she was born March 1, 1873, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Butler. She was married in 1888 to Edward Pratt, whose death occurred in 1918. Later she married Lewis Cornman who died in 1940.

She was a member of the Winterset Christian Church.

Surviving are a son, Orville Pratt of Winterset; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Nelson of Omaha; two grandchildren; and a brother, Carl Butler of Crawford, Colorado.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Richards Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. W. W. Steinmetz, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
