DOROTHY MAY MOORE

Dorothy May Boatwright Moore was born in Madison County, Iowa, June 3, 1905, to Albert and Nancy Myrtle Hoisington Boatwright. She attended school in Madison county and then moved to the Des Moines area where she resided most of her life.

March 16, 1961, she was united in marriage with Bruce Moore at Bethany, Missouri. Dorothy passed away June 9, 1978 at the Madison County Memorial hospital in Winterset.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one brother, Harry Boatwright.

Survivors include one son, Robert Cash, Earlham; one sister, Bessie Estey, Des Moines; five brothers; Paul Boatwright, Des Moines; Roy Boatwright, Des Moines; Edmund, Sedalia, Mo.; Grant, Eldorado, Ark.; and Willard, Port Orchard, Washington; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A memorial service was held June 12 at the McKee Funeral Home in Earlham with the Rev. Kenneth Santee officiating. Burial was in Penn Center Cemetery.
