EVERETT A. HIRCOCK

Everett A. Hircock, a resident of Madison county his entire life, died Tuesday, September 12, 1978, at Villa West Care Center in Winterset. He was 84 years of age.

Mr. Hircock was born in Webster township on March 13, 1894, the only son of Charles E. and Alma Orris Hircock. He was married on February 20, 1918 to Winifred Idell McCoy. They were the parents of four children: Edward C. of Earlham, Robert Arthur who died at age 11 months, Mary Robinson and Blanche Welch, both of Winterset.

Preceding Mr. Hircock in death were his parents, wife Winifred on March 1, 1972 and his son Arthur.

Mr. Hircock retired from farming in Madison County in 1974. He is survived by his three children, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Everett Hircock were conducted Friday, September 15, at 2 p.m. from Collins Funeral Home, Rev. David Livingston officiating. Burial was made at the Winterset cemetery.
