FRANK HARTMAN DIES

Frank L. Hartman, a resident of Winterset for the last four years died here at his home April 3. He was 53 years old.

Mr. Hartman was born near Winterset on October 3, 1881, the son of William and Laura Hartman. He married Pearl Moore on June 28, 1904. They moved to Seneca, Nebraska, for two years, then to Creston, Iowa, where they made their home until returning to Winterset four years ago.

Mr. Hartman was a member of the Primitive Baptist church. He leaves his wife, a son, Harold Hartman of Winterset, two grandchildren, Teddy Wayne and Peggy Joyce and three brothers and one sister, Win and Walter of Creston George of Elliston and Mrs. Walter Gray of Winterset.

Funeral services were held at the Primitive Baptist Church April 5 in charge of the Rev. Burton Naye of Cedar Falls. Burial was made in the Primitive Baptist cemetery.

SERVICES ARE FRIDAY FOR FRANK HARTMAN

Services for Frank Lewis Hamilton (sic), 53, whose death occurred April 3 at his home in Winterset, were held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the Primitive Baptist church north of Winterset by the Rev. Burton Naye of Cedar Falls. Burial was in the family lot at the church.

Mr. Hartman had been in ill health the past two years following a paralytic stroke. He was the son of William and Laura Hartman and was born October 3, 1881 near Winterset. His marriage to Pearl Moore occurred June 25, 1904. The couple lived in Seneca, Nebraska, moving to Creston two years later and coming to Winterset four years ago. Mr. Hartman became a member of the Primitive Baptist church May 13, 1934.

He leaves his wife and son Harold, two grandchildren Teddy Wayne and Peggy Joyce Hartman, three brothers, Win and Walter of Creston; George of Ellston, and a sister, Mrs. Walter Gray of Winterset, and other relatives.
