Mrs. Martha McGuiniss (sic), wife of Chris McGuiniss, died Monday morning. Very few of her acquaintances knew of her illness, therefore the news of her death was a shock to many. Mrs. McGuiniss was a daughter of the late John Moore of this place. She leaves a husband and two children, her mother and four sisters to mourn her loss. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of the community in their affliction. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. I. M. O'Flynn in the Christian church Tuesday afternoon.

Mrs. Martha McGinnis, of Scott township, wife of Christopher McGinnis died last Monday of pneumonia and confinement. The funeral was held in Peru Tuesday. She was just in the prime of womanhood and leaves a husband and two children to mourn her sad and untimely death.
