MRS. MARY THOMPSON BURIED AT MACKSBURG

Funeral services were held Aug. 16 at Macksburg for Mrs. Mary Thompson of that community, whose death occurred Aug. 13 at Iowa City. Burial was made in the Macksburg cemetery.

Mrs. Thompson was the former Mary Alice Catterlin, daughter of John and Nancy Catterlin of Winterset, where she was born Oct. 20, 1892. Her early life was spent here and she graduated from the Winterset high school in 1911. Since her marriage in 1912 to J. C. Thompson, her home had been in Macksburg.

She is a member of the Macksburg Methodist church, where she was a pianist for many years.

Surviving are her husband; four children, Mrs. Evelyn Adams of Jasper, O., Mrs. Phyllis Kirkland of Macksburg and John and Sam Thompson of Des Moines and 10 grandchildren.
