Services for Margaret J. Tuttle, 74, Winterset, who died July 20, at Mercy Medical Center were held Saturday, July 23 at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. John Long of Indianola officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.
Born in St. Louis, Mo., on Nov. 8, 1913, she was the daughter of George and Italia Scribante Guion. She was married to Charles Tuttle on Nov. 9, 1932 at St. Louis.
Since 1942, she lived in Winterset and the Madison County area. She was a member of the Maplewood Baptist Church in St. Louis.
Survivors include sons, George of Odessa, Texas, John and Tom of Norwalk, Paul and Larry of Des Moines and Bob of Winterset; daughters, Blanche Dykes of Des Moines and Betty Bone of Kingman, Ariz.; a brother, Robert Guion of Winterset; a sister, Blanche Virginia Buckles of St. Louis, Mo.; 25 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, two granddaughters and a brother.
