John F. Kennedy died in Hanford, Calif., on March 22. He was a former resident of Madison county and a member of a well known family. A sister, Mrs. Matilda Small of Winterset, died a week later. Mrs. Hannah Davis and Joseph Kennedy survive this brother. Mr. Kennedy's funeral services and burial took place in Hanford, Calif.
