Death of Mrs. M. Murphy

The funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Beedle Murphy were held Thursday, July 3rd, at 9 o’clock, at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, Rev. John T. Hall, of the Baptist church, conducted the services. Burial was in the Farris cemetery, northeast of Winterset.

Mrs. Murphy was the daughter of John and Isabelle Beedle. She was born July 27, 1850, in Madison county, Iowa. 47 years ago she was married to Lewis Smith. After his death she was married to Robert Murphy. She was a member of the Christian church. She died July 29th, at the home of a relative in Des Moines.

SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. ROBERT MURPHY

Funeral services were held Thursday morning at nine o'clock for Mrs. Robert Murphy at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home. Rev. J. T. Hall of the Winterse4t Baptist church officiated. Burial was in the Ferris cemetery eight miles northeast of town. Mrs. Murphy had lived in Madison county all her life. Recently she went to Des Moines where she died.

Mrs. Margaret Murphy was the daughter of John and Isabelle Beadle and was born July 27, 1850 in Madison county, Iowa, where she resided until her death June 29, 1930.

She was married to Louis Smith who died twenty years later. Later she married Robert Murphy who also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Murphy was a member of the Christian church. She is survived by a sister and a niece, both of Des Moines, and other relatives.
