ANDREA OVERDYK, Winterset

Andrea Kaye Overdyk, 56, of Winterset died Jan. 9, 2007, at the Taylor House in Des Moines.

Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 12, at the Church of the Nazarene in Winterset with the Revs. Bill Branson and Daniel Arnold officiating. Burial was at McDonald-Chase Cemetery, Douglas Township, Madison County.

Andrea Overdyk was born Aug. 11, 1950, in Chariton to Andrew John and Clara Louise (Borger) Overdyk. Having lived in Winterset for most of her life, Andrea worked at Innovative Industries. She was a member of Special Olympics and the Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by four brothers, Rick Borger of Milwaukee, Wis., Ed Overdyk of Mendota Heights, Minn., Bill Overdyk of Polk City and Howard Overdyk of Cedar Rapids; and two sisters, Evie Arnold of Des Moines and Linda Barrett of Polk City.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Collins Oak Park Chapel and Funeral Service in Winterset.
