Doyle Silliman, New Mexico

Doyle Silliman, 70, of Albuquerque, N. M., died April 14, 2002.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 18, at Valley Christian Church in Albuquerque, N. M. with Pastor David Morgan officiating. Burial will be Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque.

Doyle Silliman was born Feb. 23, 1932 to Charles Walter and Neola (Felton) Silliman of Peru. A longtime resident of Albuquerque, he was owner and operator of Baker Commodities Inc., South Coors Towing, South Coors Truck Salvage, Inc., and S/Ranch. Doyle was a member of New Mexico Wrecker Operators Association (founding member) New Mexico Dismantlers and Recyclers, New Mexico Buckskin Horse Association (board member), Colorado Buckskin Horse Association (founding member, president), Mile High Buckskin Horse Association, Miami, N. M., Water Users Association (president) and Miami Volunteer Fire Department. He also was a car owner and member of the New Mexico Motor Racing Association and United States Auto Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Carole, of Albuquerque; a son, Steve Silliman (wife Jennifer) of Bosque Farms, N. M.; two daughters, Pam Delgado (husband Chris) of Bosque Farms, N. M., and Vickie Meyer (husband Mark) of Bennett, Colo.; two brothers, Paul Silliman of Westlake Village, Calif., and Dwite Silliman of Ankeny; a sister, Delorse Haas of Perrysburg, Ohio; and five grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were handled by French Mortuary in Albuquerque.
