Funeral services for Garnetta Shutt, 81, were held Fri., Dec. 27 at Peterson Funeral Home, Indianola. She died of a heart ailment December 23 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Des Moines.

Born in Madison County, she moved to Indianola in 1974. She was a member of the Christian Church and was a homemaker.

Surviving are a son, Gail of St. Marys; a daughter, Judy Nance of Des Moines; a brother, Wayne Bumbarger of St. Charles; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Burial was at St. Charles cemetery.
