Hersel R. Shutt, Indianola

Services for Hersel R. Shutt, 77, Indianola, who died Sunday, Jan. 26 at Altoona Manor, were held Wednesday, Jan. 29 at Peterson Funeral Home. Burial was at the St. Charles Cemetery.

Mr. Shutt was born near St. Marys and lived in Indianola since 1974. He was a member of the Old St. Charles Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Garneta; a son, Garon of St. Charles; a daughter, Judy Overton of Des Moines; a brother, Clifford of Peru; and nine grandchildren.

HERSEL R. SHUTT

Hersel Rila Shutt, 77, of Indianola, a retired farmer, died of a heart attack Sunday at Altoona Manor. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Peterson Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery in St. Charles.

Mr. Shutt was born near St. Marys and lived in Indianola since 1974. He was a member of Old St. Charles Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Garneta; a son, Garon of St. Charles; a daughter Judy Overton of Des Moines; a brother, Clifford of Peru; and nine grandchildren.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home.
