Thomas Melroy, of Churchville, died at Mercy hospital, Des Moines, Tuesday, July 10, from septicemia. It is said this resulted from a tooth that was extracted recently. He had been ailing for a few weeks and went to the hospital last Friday. Severe vomiting weakened him and death came about noon Tuesday.

His immediate survivors are F. H. Melroy, of Churchville, a brother, and a sister, Catharine, of Chicago, who arrived Wednesday moring. The body was brought to the home of his brother, whence it was taken to the church Thursday morning
where services were conducted by Rev. P. J. Casey. The deceased was about 38 years of age.

Note: Burial was made at St. Patricks cemetery
