MRS. CHESTER SHEETS OF ST. CHARLES DIES

Mrs. Chester Sheets, a long-time resident of the St. Marys community, died Sunday, Oct. 7, at Winterset. She was 83 years of age.

Mrs. Sheets was the former Martha Ann Nicholl, daughter of David and Sarah Blair Nicholl. She was born Feb. 14, 1879 at Monmouth, Ill. When she was 2 years of age she moved with her parents to St. Marys and lived in this vicinity her entire life. She was a member of the St. Charles United Presbyterian Church.

She was married Nov. 29, 1917, to Chester L. Sheets, who survives her. She also leaves a brother, Robert Nicholl of Truro and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held from the St. Charles United Presbyterian church Oct. 9 in charge of the Rev. Sam Picken. Burial was made at St. Charles.
