Hattie Pyle Robinson

Hattie Ninerah Pyle, daughter of Joshua and Coraline Pyle, was born in Dewitt, Illinois, October 25, 1868, and departed this life October 15, 1930, at the home of her son, Roy Robinson, at Barney, at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 15 days.

She was united in marriage to Hosea D. Robinson, April 3, 1889, at Rushville, Illinois. To this union 7 children were born, one daughter, Bertha, departing this life at Macon, Missouri, three years ago.

Mrs. Robinson was stricken with paralysis three years ago. Since then she had suffered a great deal, gradually growing worse until death took her. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson had lived around Winterset the last year.

Mrs. Robinson leaves to mourn her death, her husband, six children: Walter E. Robinson, of Denver, Colorado; Everett H. Robinson, of Mason City; Roy C. Robinson, of Barney; Iva E. Gwimner, of San Bernardino, California; Corrine C. Jensen, of Cedar Falls, and Opal G. Hickethier, of Iowa Falls; several grandchildren, three brothers and six sisters.

Funeral services were held in the M. E. church at Lorimor, Friday, October 10th, at 1 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Mrs. Wolfe. Interment was made in the Barney cemetery.
