Services for Imo Dell Shaffer, 87, rural Lorimor, who died July 11 at the Winterset Care Center North, were held Saturday, July 13 at the United Methodist Church in Lorimor with the Rev. Mary Bernard officiating. Burial was at the Moon Cemetery in Macksburg.
Born in Adair County April 2, 1898, she moved to Madison County in 1929. She had lived in Lorimor for 34 years and was married in 1918 in Adair County to Carl Shaffer.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Opal Winship of Lorimor; a brother, Audre Kramer of Creston; and a granddaughter.
Preceding him in death were her husband; parents, William and Mina McClain Kramer; a brother and a sister.
