Graveside services for Rex Thomas Kirkland, 70, Fort Dodge, who died Sept. 15, 1985, at Trinity Regional Hospital at Fort Dodge, were held Sept. 17 at the Winterset Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Brite officiating.
Born in Macksburg Oct. 14, 1914, he was the son of Gale and Pearl Cain Kirkland. Mr. Kirkland was retired and had been a car salesman.
Survivors include a brother, Eddie Kirkland of Winterset.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
