MRS. McCLEEARY DIES At 85 Years

Mrs. Elizabeth McCleeary, life long resident of Madison county, died at Memorial hospital in Winterset last Thursday, Sept. 4, 1958. She was 85 years of age.

Mrs. McCleeary was the former Elizabeth McCloskey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James McCloskey. She was born in Madison county on Feb. 28, 1873. Much of her life was spent in Jefferson township where she lived for 52 years on one farm. She was a member of the Jefferson United Brethren church.

She was married on Feb. 26, 1907, at St. Charles to Alexander McCleeary, whose death occurred in 1951.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Loren Reynard of Broadview, Ill.; three grandchildren and two great granddaughters.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Richards Funeral home here, conducted by the Rev. Clifford Pine. Burial was made in the Jefferson cemetery.
