DR. LINCOLN E. WILSON

Dr. Lincoln E. Wilson, 93, died Sunday, May 08, 2005.

Lincoln was born October 13th, 1911 in Pitzer, Iowa. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Monmouth College Illinois in 1933, Master of Science from the University of Michigan in 1939, and Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Nebraska in 1946. He served in the U. S. Army as a Pathologist from 1947-1949, after which he finished his residency at county-USC Medical Center.

Startng in 1952 he went into private practice as an internal medicine specialist in Pasadena, Ca. He held membership in the American and Los Angeles Medical Associations and was a member of the American Society of Internal Medicine and the California Society of Internal Medicine. He was also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honorary medical society and served on the voluntary faculty at the USC School of Medicine. From 1979 through 1980 he served as president of the Huntington Memorial Hospital, medical and dental staff. He retired from private practice in 1991. He was a member of the University Club and Annandale Golf Club in Pasadena, Ca.

He is survived by his loving wife, Frances, of more than 66 years, and his sister, Katherine Thompson of East Lansing, Michigan.
