Chris Senn, rural Peru

Services for Chris Senn, 15, rural Peru, who died April 23 in an accidental shooting at the family home, were held Friday, April 28, at the Grace Baptist Church with John Safford officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Des Moines, he was the son of Larry Lee Senn and Ruth Ellen Hornaday. He was a freshman student at Winterset High School and had lived the past seven years here after moving from Des Moines. Chris was a member of 4-H and enjoyed riding motorcycles and bicycles.

Survivors include his father of Des Moines; his mother, Ruth Ewing and his step-father, Jeff Ewing, both of rural Peru; brothers, Adam Ewing of Peru and Eric and Ryan Ewing of Winterset; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Milford Hornaday of Udell, Iowa and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Jones of Lakeview, Ark.; and a step-grandmother, Helen Ewing of Des Moines.
