Margaret Seitz was 59 years of age at her death. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Martin Sheldahl of Sheldahl; and six brothers, Eddie and Cedric Anderson of Sheldahl, Rudolph Anderson of Slater, Henry Anderson of Chicago, Alex Anderson of Des Moines and Harold Anderson of California.

Funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. Seitz were held this Monday at Madrid where they lived before he came to Winterset.

Obituaries – Margaret Esther Seitz

Margaret Esther Anderson, daughter of John A. and Melinda Anderson, was born July 23, 1902, on a farm south of Sheldahl. As a girl she was confirmed in the Lutheran Church at Slater.

She was a graduate of State Teacher’s College, Cedar Falls, and taught school for a time. She later moved to Des Moines and worked for Western Union, till the time of her marriage to Alfred Seitz.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Martin Sheldahl of Sheldahl, and six brothers: Eddie and Cedric of Sheldahl, Rudolph of Slater, Henry of Chicago, Ill., Alex of Des Moines, and Harold of Florida; also several nieces and nephews.
