Wednesday, April 30, 1969ULMONT U. SEAMS OF TRURO DIES
Ulmont U. Seams of Truro, a life-time resident of Madison county, died Thursday, April 24, at Clarke County hospital in Osceola. He was 77 years of age.
Mr. Seams was born at St. Charles June 30, 1891 a son of George and Effie Reither Seams. He was married at St. Marys Dec. 16, 1914 to Ethel Howell, who survives him.
He was a member of the Christian church at St. Charles.
In addition to his wife, he leaves a son, Wayne Seams of Marshall, Mo.; one grandchild; a brother, Leo Seams of Garden Grove; and two sisters, Mrs. Elva Decker of Hampton and Mrs. Ora Cook of Winterset.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Kale Funeral home in Truro, conducted by the Rev. Richard Hempenius. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
