Services for Ethel Seams, 93, Truro, who died Dec. 4 at the Clarke County Hospital at Osceola, were held Monday, Dec. 7 at the Kale Funeral Home in Truro with the Rev. Ann Louise Weisenfluh of Truro officiating. Burial was at the St. Charles cemetery.
Born Nov. 17, 1894 at Patterson, she was the daughter of Arthur and Minnie Casky Howell. She went to Patterson area schools and was married Dec. 16, 1914 to Ulmont "Mont" Seams at the home of her parents.
She was a housewife, a member of the Truro Thursday Girls and the Truro Congregational Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Wayne of Truro; a sister, Doris Gray and husband Dale of Indianola; a grandson, two great-grandchildren and Ora Cook of Winterset, a sister-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and several brothers and sisters.
