Services for Thera G. Schulz, 87, a resident of the North Ward Plaza who died Jan. 23 at the Bethesda Care Center, were held Tuesday, Jan. 27, at the First Baptist Church in Winterset. Burial was at the Moon Cemetery at Macksburg.
Born June 14, 1899 in Des Moines, she was the daughter of John and Ada Townsend Callison. She married Frank C. Schulz in Macksburg on Nov. 14, 1920.
Mrs. Schulz lived most of her life in the Macksburg area and moved to Winterset in 1971. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Winterset and the WRC in Macksburg.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Eloise Eyerly of Macksburg, and Mrs. Margaret Kirsher of Ashland, Ore.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, a daughter and a grandson.
