Graveside services for Marsha N. Sayre, 41, former Winterset resident who died Sept. 16 at St. Marys Hospital in Milwaukee, Wis., were held last Thursday at North McDonald Cemetery with the Rev. John Hanzalik officiating.
She was born Feb. 12, 1941 in Winterset, the daughter of Woodrow W. Miner and Ethel M. Hendricks Miner. She married John J. Sayre Nov. 23, 1960 in Des Moines.
The couple had four sons, Michael, Matthew, Timothy and Jonathan.
Survivors include her mother, Ethel M. Haines of Winterset; her husband of Wisconsin; her sons, brothers, Woodrow, Dennis and Reginald Miner; and a sister, Krisha L. Porter.
She was preceded in death by her father, and her step-father, J. Eldon Haines.
