Annabelle C. Sandy, 98, of Winterset died of a heart ailment Sunday at the Westbridge Care Center there. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, with burial at Independent Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery there.

Mrs. Sandy was born in Gallatin, Mo., and had lived near Liberty Center and other locations. She had lived in Madrid before returning to Winterset in 1973. She was a retired schoolteacher and a member of First Christian Church in Winterset.

She is survived by a son, Carl of Indianola; a sister, Esther Seiberling of Indianola; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home where the family will be present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
