MRS. MAURICE WALTERS OF NEW YORK CITY DIES

Mrs. Maurice Walters of New York City, former Winterset resident, died at her home, last Saturday morning. Mrs. Walters who is a sister of Mrs. Mary Schoenenberger, complained of not feeling well at the breakfast table, that morning, and death came a short time later, apparently caused by a heart attack.

Mrs. Walters, was the former Jessie Callison and spent her girlhood in this community, but has resided in the east for a number of years. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Walters, the sister, Mrs. Schoenenberger, and a brother, Glen Callison of Colorado, and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral services were held at the St. James Episcopal church in New York, Tuesday morning January 7th, at 10 a.m. and burial was also in the east.

Two nieces, Mrs. F. W. Creger and Mrs. Leo Spelman left here Sunday for New York to attend the services, and to be with the uncle.
