Mr. Charles Gaskill, an old-time resident of Winterset, died very suddenly Monday evening last, after an illness of two or three days with pneumonia. Mr. Gaskill was a native of New Jersey. He settled in Winterset at an early day. At the time of his death he was about sixty-two years off age. He has for many years been a prominent horse breeder and fancier, and was a man of considerable means. He leaves a widow and several children. The funeral services were held in the Methodist church Wednesday afternoon.
