Well-Known Farmer Resident of Madison County for 31 Years
William W. Wearmouth, well-known farmer living near Lorimor for many years, died at Memorial hospital in Winterset Monday, Nov. 19. He had been a patient at the hospital since Aug. 31.
Mr. Wearmouth was 63 years of age, and had been a resident of Madison county since 1920. He was born in Adair county on Feb. 25, 1888.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Loyd Wearmouth of Lorimor; three daughters, Mrs. Verlene Simmerman of Hysham, Mont., Mrs. Lurene Orwan of Lorimor, and Mrs. Lucille Gabbert of Des Moines; two brothers, Robert Wearmouth of Lorimor and Thomas Wearmouth of Macksburg; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were set for this Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Lorimor Methodist church, in charge of the Rev. James Wilkins. Burial was to be made in the Lorimor cemetery.
